Role of Artificial Intelligence in Virtual Assistants

Whether many of you know it or not, artificial intelligence plays an important role in your daily life. For example, ChatGPT, as many of you know it, is an open-source artificial intelligence application that helps retrieve data across the internet and integrates new data to create an output that is highly accurate to the user based on their desired input. 

Whether it is for understanding a word you do not know or instructions to help bake a cake, ChatGPT can cover 99% of your problems through their artificial intelligence system. Even if you do not use ChatGPT, voice assistants like Alexa and Siri also run on artificial intelligence by processing voice commands based on inputs to generate appropriate responses. 

Though they may not have used artificial intelligence in the past, they are now integrating them together to create an advanced system that can help you with your daily needs. If you do not use any of the examples mentioned above, then there is a high likelihood that you delve in social media, not to draw any assumptions. However, millions of creators on the platform have recently been using generative artificial intelligence to include videos, images, and voices all for their content as you scroll. 

To aid this, artificial intelligence can actually combat this, as many social media platforms like Youtube and TikTok use artificial intelligence to detect whether the content creator has used artificial intelligence to help create their videos. In many cases, these social media platforms penalize the creators by not monetizing their videos as their content is not original and they are unable to make a financial profit based on artificial intelligence. 

In conclusion, artificial intelligence over the recent years has been increasingly incorporated into people’s everyday lives and will continue to do so as long as artificial intelligence keeps advancing and humans become more efficient and productive as a result.
